PREDICTIVE HISTORICAL ANOMALY & SEMIFUTURE EVIDENCE

Can you predict information that doesn't exist yet?

Predict the future, then prove you did it. Choose 12 words and lock them in before the Future Phrase exists. When the future arrives, reveal your prediction and compare.

1 · COMMIT

Pick 12 words and try it locally, with nothing uploaded. Or sign in to make it official: only the commitment is uploaded and timestamped strictly before generation time.

2 · GENERATE

At the scheduled minute, the NIST Randomness Beacon and the drand network publish fresh entropy. PHASE combines them with its pre-committed local value: SHA-256(NIST | drand | local) → 12 words.

3 · REVEAL

Reveal your words and secret. Anyone can recompute every hash from the public record — PHASE never needs to be trusted.

How is this fair?

Your browser hashes your 12 words with a private secret. Local predictions stay on your device. For official predictions, PHASE timestamps the commitment before the scheduled generation time.

At generation, PHASE combines fresh NIST Randomness Beacon and drand values with a pre-committed local value. SHA-256 deterministically maps those inputs to the Future Phrase. The public record and verification page let anyone reproduce the result.

The odds, for the record

Each word is drawn from a 2,048-word dictionary (11 bits). A 12-word phrase carries 132 bits of entropy: there are ~5.4 × 1039 possible phrases. A perfect prediction by chance is expected roughly once per 1032 years of minutely challenges. If a committed prediction scores 12 / 12, either something very unusual happened to the randomness — or to causality.
